Officials learn about the master plan of Expo 2010The Government of Chile and companies have attached great importance to World Expo 2010 despite the worldwide financial turmoil and are gearing up for it, a senior official said today.
Francisco Encina, visiting president of the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress of Chile, said this when meeting Hua Junduo, China's commissioner general for World Expo 2010.
Chile is confident of its exhibition and looks forward to spotlighting its unique Inca culture, Encina said.
Hua urged Chile to start building its pavilion as soon as possible. Hua also delivered a progress report.
